Welcome from the Teacher/Director:
Having graduated from Edinboro University of Pennsylvania in 2004 with a degree in Early Childhood/Elementary Education, I am so excited to begin the next chapter of my life as the new Wee Care Preschool Teacher/ Director. I have spent the last several years teaching preschool at St. Boniface School in Erie, and as a substitute in the Corry and Wattsburg School Districts. I also have recently worked for the Barber National Institute and briefly as a Parent Educator in a Home Visiting Program called Parents as Teachers for the Union City Family Support Center. I am currently a Big Sister in the Big Brothers/Big Sisters Program, the nation’s premier mentoring organization. I have lived in Erie County, specifically in the Wattsburg School District for the majority of my life. My husband James and I have been married for almost twenty-nine years and have been blessed with three children. We are members of St. Boniface Parish where my husband has attended his entire life and myself since 1988. In the past I have taught Religious Education for ten years, and helped run Vacation Bible School for about the same. We continue to volunteer in a variety of capacities as needed. I am so grateful that the Lord has given me this opportunity to be in the lives of your children and in your community. I want you to know that I look forward to giving your children the best, first experience of school possible!
–Kimberly Vallimont, BS Ed., Teacher/Director
